Chicago Dibs →

Thanks to my friend Andy at Visual Armory for sending this to me!

Love it or hate it, it’s a Chicago tradition.

“Dibs” refers to the practice of holding a shoveled-out parking space after a heavy snowfall by putting chairs, laundry baskets, or other items in the street to mark the claimed space.

Victorious! Thanks to Chad, Dan and Josh who popped by and helped.

Dad, you’re making the snow not fun with that shoveling.

No need to dream of a white Christmas here in Chicago. Merry Christmas everyone!
